Who am I?
My name is Jan Ivar Korsbakken. I am currently a physics graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, born in 1978, and originally from Oslo, Norway. My interests include languages and linguistics, history, world politics, computer programming, cooking and just about anything else except sports and pop music (including, of course, physics, but don’t let that scare you).
What’s on this site?
This site is under continual construction, and at the moment the cranes have just barely been erected. I have a busy schedule of teaching and research this semester, so progress on this site may be slow (but hey, I can’t do worse than the construction people who have blocked off half the walkways on my part of the UC Berkeley campus for two years and counting…).
