Below are pdf handouts with important material (will be updated regularly). Some of this will be covered in section, but some may not be if there is not enough time or if there are a lot of questions, so you want to read through these handouts.
- Week 1 handout (posted 1/22): Contact info, office hours, homework logistics, scientific notation, units and prefixes
- Week 3 handout (posted 1/26): Conceptual questions about temperature, heat, useful energy, phases of matter
